General Manager/Business Development Manager

Overview:
CertifiNOW is seeking a high energy person who can function in dual roles focused on building the company’s capacity externally and internally. Experience managing and growing an SMB is key.

CertifiNOW is the one of the premier certification preparatory company in its industry. It is also a fast growing company in this industry. As a result, CertifiNOW is seeking a General Manager who can lead the company’s transition into maturity without sacrificing quality or losing momentum. Therefore, CertifiNOW is looking for a General Manager who can continue to move the business forward as the company’s service offerings mature. We are eagerly looking forward to launching new brands and didactic techniques; as a result, someone with a Brand Management and/or didactic Product Management background will be preferred.

From a Business Development perspective, CertifiNOW is seeking someone with a strong and verifiable record of closing deals and building business capacity. Must be able to install processes to track and measure success from a Sales and Advertising perspective. Candidate should have excellent skills in proposal writing, listening, and communication skills with an emphasis on consultative sales.

Supervisory skills and high personal standards of integrity are a must.

Salary:
Competitive base salary, plus commission.

Project Management Instructor

Overview:
CertifiNOW is the one of the premier certification preparatory company in its industry. It is also a fast growing company in this industry. As a result, CertifiNOW is seeking high-energy instructors with extensive experience providing didactic in-class presentations coupled with a “student-centric” approach to training and development. If you do not believe or cannot prove that you are the best at what you do – please do not apply. CertifiNOW instructors must be an SME (Subject Matter Expert) in project management and/or several of the Knowledge Areas in the PMBOK^® Guide. CertifiNOW teaches advanced certification training so those with advanced degrees will be preferred.

As an instructor at CertifiNOW, you must personify the characteristics that make CertifiNOW unique:

Additional Requirements:

• You must be a PMP^®
• 10 years of experience leading and directing projects as a Project Manager
• 5 years of didactic public speaking or training experience.
• Passionate about helping people succeed
• Experience with a variety of learning styles and approaches
• Experience with curriculum development
• Ability to travel (10-15 days per month)
• A willingness to be taught and learn new approaches and techniques
• Must be self motivated and internally driven to achieve excellence
• Technology savvy
• High level of business ethics
• Great interpersonal skills and class facilitation skills.

Do NOT Apply If:

• You are ethically challenged
• You do not know have in-depth knowledge of the following: PMBOK^® Guide, PMI^®, PMP^® or do not know what these acronyms represent.
• Cannot work independently for long periods at a time.
• If you do not have experience keeping the attention span of a group of people over an extended period of time (3 to 5 days).
• You do not have a passion to server the needs of people and help them advance in their careers.

You will represent CertifiNOW in the classroom. So, high standards of personal and business ethics are a must. You must have a professional and intelligent appearance. In addition to being an excellent instructor, the ideal candidate should have excellent skills in curriculum development, proposal writing, listening, and communication skills with an emphasis on consultative sales. You will be expected to provide sales support by attending sales meetings (as the SME) and helping our sales professionals answer RFPs and generate proposals.
