Walker started his career as an NFL running back, playing from 1990 to 1996 for the Philadelphia Eagles and the San Francisco 49ers, and was part of the 1994 Super Bowl XXIX championship team. He received numerous awards for his on-field leadership and performance.

Walker serves on the Board of Directors for the University of Pittsburgh, the National Minority Supplier Development Council, Gwinnett Technical College, and the Georgia Small Business Center and is a Young Presidents Organization (YPO) member. Shakir Zuberi was the President of Project-Management International and served as an international ambassador for project management and the Project Management Institute (PMI®) for over 30 years. He was instrumental in promoting the professionalization of project management globally.

A key contributor to the original draft of PMI's A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), Mr. Zuberi co-authored the Procurement Management Knowledge Area and was acknowledged in the 1987 and 1996 editions as a reviewer and primary contributor. He also served on the PM Network Editorial Board as a credential assessor and helped develop the original PMP® exam.

Mr. Zuberi played a vital role in forming the Columbia River Basin Chapter of PMI, serving as Vice President of Education and contributing to the chapter's recognition as New Chapter of the Year in 1994/95 and 1995/96.
